Eduardo Posada-Zamudio

Eduardo is a retired Captain of the Colombian Navy, where he served for 32 years aboard naval vessels, at major naval bases, and at Headquarters as a logistics officer. During his military career, he lived in several countries, including Germany, Brazil, and Mexico. After retiring from active duty, Eduardo continued his professional path in leadership and management roles. He served as Dean of the School of Business and Accounting Sciences at La Salle University in Bogotá, held the position of Finance Director at the Comisión Permanente del Pacífico Sur (CPPS), and worked with Brinks Global Services as an Internal Auditor.

Eduardo holds a Ph.D. in Family Business Management, a Master’s degree in International Affairs, and a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Management. He has been married to his wife, María Lucía, for 44 years, and together they have three children: Anamaria, David, and Laura.

Eduardo loves sailing and traveling, and has visited approximately 251 cities in 28 different countries. Over the years, he and his family have relocated nearly 28 times. He  also enjoys hands-on work, from repairing and maintaining his own home to supporting his grown children with their household projects.
